The 52nd ARA Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on Brisbane’s South Bank from 14th to 17th May 2011. The conference, “Rheumatology, its many faces and friends” includes key speakers Professor Iain McInnes (Glasgow), Professor Andrew Cope (London), Dr Joost Frenkel (Utrecht) and Dr Ray Naden (Auckland). These esteemed colleagues will explore the many different facets of rheumatology. The meeting will offer an opportunity to keep up date with advancements in the field and a chance to network with colleagues and friends, while enjoying the warmth of the sunshine state.

Queensland’s own Professors’ Ranjeny Thomas and Matt Brown will share their ground breaking research; other speakers have been sourced to provide entertaining and educational overviews in many areas including pregnancy and paediatrics. The conference dinner will be held Level 12 Rooftop, Rydges Hotel, Southbank with Professor Ian Frazer, 2006 Australian of the year as after dinner speaker.
