SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre is a world-class venue forming part of SKYCITY Auckland located in the heart of Auckland City.

This entertainment destination features a multitude of bars and award-winning restaurants, the iconic Sky Tower, the five-star SKYCITY Grand Hotel and the 4+ star SKYCITY Hotel with many hotel rooms between them. Additionally there are many hotels within a five minute walk from the venue.

SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre is conveniently centred between Queen Street (the central city's premier retail strip) and The Viaduct, home to some of the city's most popular dining and night spots.

Getting to New Zealand

Major airlines offer direct flights to New Zealand from Australia, USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Chile.

Getting to and from Auckland – Car, Bus or Taxi
The Auckland International Airport is situated approximately 25 kilometres (approximately 45 minutes) from central Auckland.

Taxis and Shuttles
Taxi and shuttle ranks are located outside the arrivals door at the international terminal and outside the Jetstar forecourt at the domestic terminal. Indicative fares from the airport into the city are between $NZ75 and $NZ90 one way for a taxi and shuttles are $NZ33 for one person plus $NZ8 for each extra person travelling together in the same group. 

Car
If you are traveling by car, take the Southern Motorway north, exit at Nelson Street and follow the signs direct to SKYCITY.

Buses
Airbus Express is the fastest way to travel to the city. The service operates 24 hours a day with buses departing every ten minutes on weekdays between 7am and 7pm and every fifteen minutes on weekends between 6am and 7pm. Evening and overnight departures run every 20-30 minutes. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Please allow extra time during peak times. Public Transport
Britomart Transport Centre – rail, buses and ferry
From SKYCITY it is a quick 10 minute walk to the Britomart Transport Centre - the main city rail and bus terminal. It links the city centre with outer suburbs. For more information visit www.maxx.co.nz. Ferries depart from the Downtown Ferry Terminal that is located opposite the Britomart Transport Centre.

The SKYCITY Main Site Car Park is Auckland's biggest Car Park with 1,960 parks accessible from three entries and offers convenient motorway access, full time security and surveillance and well-lit maintained facilities.  There is also a range of options available to suit your needs:

Casual Parking
Rate:

  1. First hour $15
  2. Each extra hour (or part of) $5.50
  3. $50 per day, up to a maximum of 24 hours

Early Bird Parking
Monday - Friday $22*
Entry between 6am and 9am and exit before 6pm on the same day (single entry and exit).
Standard casual rates will apply if parking does not fall within these times.

Lost ticket $50.  Parking is subject to availability. Car parking terms and conditions apply.
Please be aware that the maximum height for vehicles in SKYCITY Main Site car park is 2.1 metres and in SKYCITY Grand Hotel car park is 2.1 metres.
