The ARA 2018 ASM will hold the following events in conjunction with the Scientific Program.  Please indicate in your online registration your intention to attend.


Welcome Reception and Exhibition Opening

Date:  Saturday 5th May 2018

Time:  5.15pm – 6.45 pm

Venue: Melbourne Room 2, MCEC

Cost:  Included with full registration.  Extra tickets: $60 per ticket.

A great networking opportunity that will allow you to catch up with colleagues and mingle with delegates attending the meeting. The welcome reception will be held at the conference venue in with the Trade Exhibition.

Included in full and student registration.

Additional tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased at $60.  Please note that children cannot attend this function.

All delegates must indicate on the registration form online whether they will be attending this function.

Paediatric Dinner

Date:  Sunday 6th May 2018

Time:  From 7.30 pm

Venue:  BangPop

Cost:  $75 (includes dinner only)

Succulent Thai dishes with amazing taste sensations all made with seasonal ingredients sourced locally or straight from Thailand and prepared by Head Chef - Piyakun Klomruethai (Bird).

Annual Conference Dinner

Date:  Monday 7th May 2018

Venue: Members Dining Room and Percy Beames Bar

Dinner: 7.00 for 7.30 – 11.00 pm (Coaches will depart at 6.30 pm from outside the MCEC, Convention Centre Place (near to the Pan Pacific South Wharf.  They will return from approximately 10.30 - 11.00 pm).

Cost: $140 per ticket

The conference dinner will be at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in the Members Dining Room.  A three course meal with drinks will be served. It promises to be a fabulous night out with Russell "Robbo" Robertson (ex-Demon's footy player) and Phil Ceberano leading a line up of great talent for you to be able hit the dance floor with your colleagues.

Tickets will be $140 per person and include dinner, drinks and entertainment.
