The Organising Committee of the 2018 Australian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting invites
you to join us in Melbourne, Australia from 5–8 May 2018. The Australian Rheumatology Association (ARA) is hosting the meeting at the Melbourne Convention Centre. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Australian Rheumatology Health Professionals’ Association and will include Paediatric Rheumatology.
The meeting will feature some of the world’s most dynamic speakers in Rheumatology. We aim to present cutting-edge research, provide clinical updates and to address some of the ‘big picture’ issues in adult and paediatric Rheumatology. Meeting themes will include spondyloarthritis, JAK-STAT biology and blockade, back pain, paediatric pain, new developments in osteoarthritis, muscle in ageing and metabolism, and health care stewardship.
International guests confirmed to date include Désirée van der Heijde (Netherlands), Martin Englund (Sweden), Peter Croft (UK), Roy Fleischmann (USA), David Sherry (USA), Massimo Gadina (USA), Dan Cua (USA) and Stuart Warden (USA). We will also feature a wide range of local experts.
