The Organising Committee of the 2018 Australian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting thanks you for joining us in Melbourne at last year’s Meeting. The meeting was held in conjunction with the Australian Rheumatology Health Professionals’ Association and also included Paediatric Rheumatology, as well as co-badged sessions with the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
The meeting featured some of the world’s most dynamic speakers in Rheumatology. It aimed to present cutting-edge research, provide clinical updates and to address some of the ‘big picture’ issues in adult and paediatric Rheumatology. Meeting themes such as spondyloarthritis, JAK-STAT biology and blockade, back pain, paediatric pain, new developments in osteoarthritis, muscle in ageing and metabolism, and health care stewardship.
We welcomed our international guests including Désirée van der Heijde (Netherlands), Martin Englund (Sweden), Peter Croft (UK), Roy Fleischmann (USA), David Sherry (USA), Massimo Gadina (USA), Dan Cua (USA), Stuart Warden (USA) and Robert Landewé (Netherlands). We also featured a wide range of local experts.
We hope you had a wonderful ARA meeting in Melbourne.
