Parental Support for the ARA ASM 2023

The ARA will offer parental grants for ARA members with children attending the ASM who require support to allow them to attend. This will be provided in replace of onsite childcare and would be most suitable for members with babies and small children who could otherwise not attend without the support of an additional caregiver being present at the conference. 

The parental grant is up to a maximum of $1500 to cover travel expenses and accommodation (no other expenses will be covered) for a caregiver and children. As there is an allocated grant pool, applications will be assessed and provisionally accepted as they are received. 

How do I apply?

For application please email the conference organiser (lara@themeetingpeople.com.au) confirming that the applicant is a member of the ARA, has registered for the ASM and the fund amount that will be used for the intended purpose (travel, accommodation and/or Nanny expenses) including details of the children and caregiver up to $1,500pp (depending on your home location).

If approved the applicant will be notified of the provisional acceptance, but will only receive the funds after the ASM once they have provided the corresponding receipts .
